After our time in Medellin and our search for employment, we decided to move to Bogota where the job prospects were more promising. We secured jobs teaching English to businesses and community workers and settled in for life in Colombia. Bogota is a big city with approximately 9 million people with many cultural and music-based events going on around the place. We don't get to take the camera out too much but this post shows just one of the cultural events we have participated in since we moved here - the Alimentarte Food Festival.
Celebrating Colombia's performance in the World Cup.
Alimentarte - A blend of flavours from around Colombia and the world.
A selection of Colombian food: Chorizo, Blood Sausage, Plantain, Creole Potatoes, Fried Chicken and Fried Meat and Arepas.
I was in my element with all the sweet goodies being offered!
Simon Bolivar Plaza, Central Bogota.
Fantastic Cassie....you certainly know how to enjoy life !
